This month’s talk by club president Ben Le Vagueresse is a review of last summer’s action and learnings when fly fishing for natives. It will cover “why fly fish for natives”, what places you can fly fish within 1 ½ hrs of Melbourne and how to go about it. Ben will discuss the equipment required, rod, line, leader, right through to flies and how to fish them. Also covered will be where to cast, how to recognise structure and what time of the day to fish for them. This should prove to be an informative session and will hopefully help you improve your results in the future.
There will also be a fantastic raffle prize of cod flies and a box hand tied by Ben.
